The upgrade menu in Aura Monster Simulator offers several stat lines that scale differently across the game timeline. Climb speed upgrades increase raw steps per second. Aura multiplier upgrades boost how much Aura each step generates. Defense or health upgrades reduce damage from hazards on high floors.

Auto-climb efficiency upgrades improve passive income when you toggle auto mode on safe sections. Luck or Gem find upgrades sit lower in priority unless you are specifically preparing for Aura Shop sessions funded by rare Gem drops.

Early Game Priority Order

Purchase climb speed until movement feels noticeably faster on the first hundred floors. Shift focus to Aura multiplier upgrades next because they compound with every future speed increase. One point of multiplier affects thousands of future steps.

Delay defensive upgrades until you start dying to hazards regularly. Early floors are forgiving enough that pure offense clears content faster than balanced builds.

High-floor runners should keep one defensive upgrade tier ahead of their current record attempt. Dying loses more time than the Aura spent on a single health tier costs.
